The Audio Visual Manager position reports to the Director of Events and will partner heavily with internal/external partners and department heads for the audio/visual and technical needs for the arena and attached spaces. This position will be responsible for A/V schedule coordination and planning in conjunction with the venue’s event and maintenance schedules. This position will manage Audio/Visual staff, including part-time, freelancers, and third-party. The position will supervise (and participate, as needed) A/V setups, strikes, and event-by-event change-outs to ensure events are show-ready. This position will be expected to work and supervise staff to the highest safety standards while delivering an exceptional guest experience for a diverse group of guests/clients in the youth, amateur/collegiate, professional, and special events spaces. 

Oak View Group is seeking a Director of Ballpark Operations to oversee the daily operations of LeLacheur Park, a 5,000-seat outdoor baseball stadium and multi-purpose venue on the campus of UMass Lowell. The Director of Ballpark Operations is responsible for the overall coordination and day-to-day management of LeLacheur Park. This position serves as the primary operational liaison between the venue, tenants, clients, and internal departments to ensure the facility is maintained and operated at a high standard. This Director oversees event planning, facility scheduling, tenant relations, financial performance, and coordination of operations, maintenance, grounds, and guest services. This position works closely with the General Manager to develop operating budgets, improve operational efficiencies, maximize facility utilization, and deliver exceptional experiences for tenants and guests.

The Event Staff position is responsible for providing a safe and welcoming environment for all patrons and employees and filling multiple staffing posts that may vary from event to event. Event Staff are the first and last impression and front facing role to the guests for the venue, university, and clients. In this role, you will wear many different hats and have the potential to work in several different areas of the arena.

Responsible for the Tsongas Center’s “In-House Entertainment”. As part of the Audio/Visual Staff you will help build and deliver the arena show for our patrons, creating an exciting atmosphere and experience for all games and many events. Duties and responsibilities include working within the arena’s control room, operating cameras, running cables, and setting up additional A/V systems as needed. As part of the crew, you will gain hands-on experience working with state-of-the-art broadcasting and live production equipment

This Operations Crew position is physically demanding and requires individuals who are willing to engage in hands-on labor to ensure the successful setup, maintenance, and breakdown of events. Crew members are responsible for the heavy lifting, physical setup, and facility maintenance required to keep the arena and its events running smoothly. The primary tasks associated with this position are event conversions, changing the ice surface to a temporary floor for various events, setting up and striking stages, and event setup for all games or events.
