Prestigious George Bossi Holiday Wrestling Tournament to be Held at Tsongas Center for the First Time
The 43rd Annual George Bossi Lowell Holiday Wrestling Tournament will change venues in 2010 as it makes its debut at the Tsongas Center at UMass Lowell on Wednesday, December 29 and Thursday, December 30. This event is considered to be one of the most prestigious wrestling tournaments in New England. The best MIAA wrestlers as well as select participants from Connecticut, New Hampshire, and Rhode Island will converge in Lowell for this great holiday tradition.
"This tournament has a great tradition, and moving to such an outstanding venue will enhance the tournament for both student-athletes and fans," said Lowell High School Athletic Director James DeProfio.
Individual tickets for the event are priced at $10 for adults, $5 for children, and $3 for High School Students with a valid ID.
